[Gentoo] One blogging app, please?

I was thinking about how I have three different programs open right now related to blogging. I’ve got blam to aggregate stuff for reading; then I have to open all these blogs in Firefox to either see the rest of the post (because the RSS doesn’t have the whole thing) or to respond in its comments area; finally, I often write responses in my own blog using LogJam.

Does it seem odd to anyone else that all this functionality hasn’t been integrated into one all-encompassing blogging app? It would be like the e-mail client of the blogging world.

Or perhaps this has already been done. If so, please let me know.

[Gentoo] Legends: a cool, free (beer) Linux FPS

Legends is also good while drinking beer. It’s got a nice community [see its IRC channel (irc.dynamix.com #legends) or forums], and a new release just came out a few days ago, after a fairly long break.

I’m always interested in community dynamics, and in interacting with the community accompanying whatever software I’m using. This is one of the reasons I use Gentoo — it has a community.

Gentoo’s games devs did a great job of getting the new Legends into the tree within two days of its release.

I’m very excited to start playing it again.
